A family-run coastal café built around community, good food, and creating a welcoming space for everyone.

Our story began with Mr Bayrak, who successfully owned and operated a café in Brighton for over 12 years. With a passion for great food and friendly service, he built a reputation for creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

As a family-run café, creating a friendly atmosphere has always been just as important to us as the food we serve. We wanted Lighthouse Café to feel comfortable, personal, and welcoming from the moment people walk through the door.

Inspired by the nearby coast and the strong sense of community in Littlehampton, we’ve created a space where people can relax, enjoy great food, and feel at home. Whether you’re joining us for a coffee, breakfast, or lunch, you’ll always be greeted with a warm welcome.

Opening our own family café has always been a dream. Before launching, we spent four years developing our skills at Tulleys Tea Room, gaining valuable experience in hospitality and customer service.

You’ll often spot Mia, our youngest team member, helping around the café. She loves serving milkshakes, chatting with customers, and making people smile. Many of our regulars know her as our very own “Little Miss Apron“!

As a family, we’re passionate about what we do and proud to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake, or a milkshake, you’ll always be greeted with a smile.
